Things I've Learned About Myself.
1. Chicago is the most amazing city I've been to. 2. Life is so much better with friends. 3. An hour commute gives you a lot of time to think. 4. Cable really isn't worth it. 5. It's possible for me to lose 30 pounds. 6. I like humidity. 7. Not only have I not seen Star Wars, I REALLY don't want to (wish me luck on Saturday). 8. Not having insurance is frightening. 9. Listening to classical music isn't my favorite but watching it be performed live is invigorating. 10. Coming home to nobody after a long day only makes the day worse. 11. I'm convinced I've met the most selfless man I ever will. He now lives in Kentucky. 12. People who are shady do not discriminate. They will be shady to you no matter how much they try to convince you otherwise. 13. Murphy's law states that there will be a monsoon when you are moving out and a monsoon in a different part of the country when you try to move in the next day. 14. I have seen and driven in what I believe the end of the world will look like. 15. I like some of Eminem's latest "music". 16. 90% of the boys I had a crush on in elementary school are either gay or got a girl pregnant in high school. 17. It is no surprise to me that my most serious relationship was in fifth grade. 18. I have a goal to go to as many MLB games as I can. I don't like baseball. 19. Some people make a permanent imprint on your life and no matter how far away you move from them, you will always think of them. I miss you. 20. Family trumps all. Unfortunately I didn't know that before college. 21. I like Thai food. 22. I like sushi. 23. Everyone should get a pedicure at least once in their life. 24. I feel bad writing about pedicures when I know there are people starving in other parts of the world or down the street. 25. I can't wait to have a baby. 26. I think I am cooler than I actually am. 27. I don't know what I believe in anymore. 28. I don't understand why gay people can't get married. There are plenty of straight people that shouldn't be allowed to be married. 29. Having a female CEO is inspiring. Seeing her eat lunch in the cafeteria without making someone get it for her is even better. 30. I'm grateful for genuine people. 31. I don't cry as often or as easily as I used to. 32. I would be okay if I never heard Pink sing again. 33. I wish I was rich and famous. 34. I hate Comcast. 35. Driving alone for long periods of time is sometimes soothing. 36. I like trying new things but only with people that I'm already comfortable with. 37. I'm still not in the career path that I hope to retire in. 38. Going to a movie theater by yourself is actually very entertaining. 39. My dating life is humorous to outsiders. It's funny to me only way after the fact. 40. Oops I did it again. 41. Fresh produce makes me happy. 42. I'm still afraid of the dentist. 43. I still think I voted for the right person for President. 44. I often need someone to validate my decisions. 45. I don't like being called Shlee. 46. I love hearing someone call me Ash for the first time. 47. I really hope my niece knows who I am as she grows up. I'm scared she'll forget about me in between visits. 48. I hate stepping on newly vacuumed carpet. 49. I actually don't mind doing laundry when the machines are in my apartment. 50. I have a lot to learn.
