Chicago Visits

A couple people came and visited me while I was still in Chicago. This is the fun we had:
Dad's visit in May. This would be the boyhood home of Dutch, a.k.a. Ronald Reagan. We had a personal tour of the place. For some reason it wasn't too busy! It could have been because he grew up in the middle of nowhere. Not a lot of out-of-towners come to visit I guess.

The next day we went to Chicago and played around at Navy Pier. I'm going to miss the view!
This is me missing it already...

Liz came in February. She loved sleeping on the train.

But I think her favorite part was walking onto "The Ledge" at the Sears Tower Skydeck. You can look straight down to the city on the glass floor! It was incredible!

My favorite part was the people watching. Liz looked at the fossils at the Field Museum while I watched the guy with the dinosaur head.

Jesse took me to the Chicago Botanical Gardens in June. It was beautiful! One of the best parts was when we heard a rustling in the bushes. We both thought it was a bunny but upon closer inspection, we discovered that it was a raccoon! I think it even scared Jesse a little. :)

Finally we had Kara and Ashlee's Day Off just 2 days before I moved. We ate at the Grand Luxe Cafe, shopped, shopped, shopped, admired the Blackhawk's fanfare around the city, and then topped it off with a Cubs game. Surprisingly, Cubbies win!

Man I'm going to miss it there. Chicago is probably my favorite place I've ever been.

Woo Hoo! Are you going to post pics of Kansas? How do you get the pictures to look like that?
