March: Yayayayayaya! The cutest baby ever was born. Sadly, one of the greatest women I've ever know passed away. I sure miss grandma!
May: Austin FINALLY comes home! Hip hip hooray!
June: Jodi and I began the summer to remember. Also in this month, we attend friends' triathlons at ridiculous hours in the morning not wasting a minute of the summer sun.
July: I attempt fishing. Maybe this year I'll be brave enough to actually touch the fish.
August: My friends managed to convince me that camping would be fun. Turns out, they were right. Don't you love our white legs at the beach?
September: The New York trip. I'm still exhausted from it.
October: In an attempt to get a vacation after my previous vacation, and to spend quality time with mom, we head to Disneyland for Halloween. Best. Idea. Ever.
November: I get into the Christmas spirit unusually early and help Blake select a tree. I later realized I can't stand to be away from my family so with help from my Dad, I get on a plane home to surprise my mom for Thanksgiving. I can't believe we pulled it off.December: Can you believe I didn't take a single picture?! Me either. But if I had a picture of it, I would show you my keyboard that I got for Christmas. By this time next year, I should be able to perform quite the recital! Christmas was amazing and I am so grateful for my family that made it that way. I miss you all!
To celebrate the end of an amazing year and the beginning of a new one, I invited a couple friends over on NYE. We watched Star Trek. And by watched I mean I slept until my alarm went off at 11:55, toasted in the new year with sparkling cider, and went back to sleep until the movie was over. The only parts that I saw had something to do with the phrase, "are you out of your vulcan mind?!" and I just remember thinking that I must have been out of my vulcan mind to watch this. After that movie, a couple people left and Jodi and I watched 500 days of summer. It was much better.
On New Years Day, Jodi and I decided to cook the turkey that she received as a gift from work. It was quite the experience! We couldn't find the giblets (Jesse later scolded us as he found them in the neck while he was carving. Yikes) and then we over cooked it a little in an attempt to not kill anyone. Anyway, all put together, the meal looked pretty good.
Sadly I didn't get a picture of it all laid out nice and pretty but as you can see we had quite a spread.
At least Blake seemed to like the dry turkey! :)

finally! So have you been working on this post for a month? The dates they say are not in real time. I do have a new appreciation for blogging, though, it is sometimes really hard to keep current. Well, smell ya later!
