A Year in Review

This past year has been pretty big for me. 2009 will be no different. Check back in a few days to see how I rang in the new year. For now, here's a look back.

December 31, 2007:
Enjoying sparkling cider and a puzzle that ended up consuming our lives for at least a week. We thought we lost a piece for good and it drove us nuts!

January 2008:
My roommate Katie gets her mission call to Poland, Warsaw. She has now been out for 8 months!

February 2008:
After-church activity when we finally got enough snow! Katie and I made Lavell the snowman. This is the month that we find the missing puzzle piece in the bottom of our candy bowl.

March 2008:
Spring Break with my mom nad Nicole. Vegas baby! And of course a stop at In 'N Out.

April 2008:
Graduation! I accepted my job with Sears on the same day. Big day.

May 2008:
Austin hits his one year hump! I move home and become a bum.

June 2008:
Still at home. Still working at Sears in Ogden. Still starting work between 5 and 6 a.m. Ick.

July 2008:
Road trip! My parents and I make the 3 day journey to my new home. I started my job and met my new branch. My first month was a lot of anxiety!

August 2008:
My sister and her hubby comes to Chicago and tell me she's PREGNANT!!! I'm gonna be an auntie in March.

September 2008:
My mom and dad come to visit and we go to my first cubs game. It was an amazing weekend!

October 2008:
My job gets sweeter and I meet LL Cool J! This month I also went to Nauvoo for the first time and experienced being in a car when it got pulled over, for the first time.

November 2008:
Happy early birthday to me! I love Bertie and she loves to make me desserts. My friends love it too. I go home to surprise most of my family for Thanksgiving! That was probably the best part of my year.

December 2008:
Happy real birthday to me! Party at my place includes forcing the guys to bake and frost my cake. I have good friends. I went home for Christmas too. I'm loving the jet-setting life!

Best part of the year is a toss up between Wrigley Field and LL Cool J.
