Then we went to the city of Woodstock. Turns out, this is where Groundhog Day was filmed. We walked the streets that Bill Murray walked. It was magical. The best part was as soon as we got back to my house, we turned on the TV and guess what was on! You got it...Groundhog Day! The very beginning of the movie shows exactly where I had been that night. It was nuts. You can't really tell from the pictures but here are a couple proving I was there.
Jodi asked the girl at the theater if she could put up part of the sign. Another life goal fulfilled. By the way, this theater is prominently in the opening credits of the movie.
This picture was taken on the pavilion that was in the movie. I don't know about the rest of the group, but I could feel fame oozing out of that place.
