Hit me with your best shot! Fire awaaaaaaaaaaay!

This weekend I got to help with a surprise birthday for my friend Heather. She thought we were going mini golfing with a few people but I ended up taking her to her surprise party with a bunch of people. Her boyfriend planned it all out and we had food and karaoke which was actually fun for me. This was my first performance. Heather and I sang Hit Me With Your Best Shot and I really got into it. Heather was clearly amused. Later I sang, Forever and Ever, Amen with Jesse, another song I can't remember with Jodi, and who knows what else I would have done if the party hadn't ended.

Anyway, that was a pretty good weekend to finish off a stressful week. Work just got crazier for me with a lot of new changes. I just transitioned over to misses' activewear which is a pretty small category within CRB. There have been many moments that my brain has started hurting as I absorb all of the new information. On Friday, we found out that a girl on my team is moving to another area. I'm going to miss that girl a lot (she was my "post-BAP") and now I have much more work to do. I will now be in charge of activewear as well as Gloria Vanderbilt, Lee, and Levi. I'm sure I can do it, I'm just really nervous about it.

My seester is about to pop out my niece and I'm so excited (and possibly more stressed than she is about it). Last weekend we went into the city to go to the art institute and I was so excited to buy some presents for her. I got her some books by Bill Peet whom they had an exhibit about. (Did I use whom correctly?) One of the books is about a dragon and one is about a cat. If you know Karlee, you know that those books will be perfect. We weren't all artsy fartsy while we there.

Love this!
Blake and I made snow angels on Michigan Ave.

Trying to see if our tongues would stick to the bean.

This blog was really scattered but that's how my brain has been for awhile now. I've got a lot going on and I'm really grateful for all of you who have listened to me vent about it. You're all the best and I'm lucky to have you guys as family and friends. Thanks!

You did use whom correctly, however you ended your sentence with a preposition. The correct usage would be "about whom they had an exhibit." :-)
