Valentine's Fun

I know it was awhile ago, but I had a fabulous Valentine's day. Probably the first time in a long time that I enjoyed the day. I got two Valentines at work, both from boys no less! One was a Spiderman card (like the ones you use in elementary school) that told me to have an awesome day and another was a lovely heart shaped box of chocolates from a vendor. That one was a little bitter sweet because it was my last day in juniors and he wrote a little note on it saying that he would miss me. Oh Tony, I'm going to miss you too!

On Saturday night, the church group went to a luau. I think the intent was to make it the least Valentinish as possible which worked pretty well. Afterwards, we invaded Colonial Cafe for some yummy ice cream. It was a really fun night!

My friend Jesse with me and Emily. This kid cracks me up! His stories are unbelievable and he's a male version of Karlee. While watching the superbowl, he made comments such as "look at that sod they are kicking up!"I love hanging with him.

Hanging with my homies

I went home to party at my sister's baby shower. She's about to pop! About 5 more weeks until our little baby girl is here! We like pink...While I was home I actually got to spend time with my friends in Utah. I don't usually get to do that so we definitely made it count!

Hanging with Janae at the Gateway. We enjoyed the courtesy umbrellas. We went shopping and then went to see He's Just Not That Into You. I just wasn't that into the movie. I thought it would be funnier but it was fun to hang out with Janae. I miss you girl!

My favorite glasses! This is the kind of stuff my mom and I get a kick out of. It's how we bond.

Girl's night out! We went to the $3 theater which I didn't know existed. Man I wish they had those out here. We saw Australia which was well-done just not my favorite. If you like history and Australia then you may just love it!

Why I am never getting married

Exhibit A:

(The names in this story have not been changed because the only one that needs to be protected is me and it's way too late for that.)

So I just went to chat online with my friend Mitchell and I said "I hope you are enjoying your job. I think of you everyday (not only because I wish I was in san fran)." Turns out I sent the chat to my friend Ian instead. Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!! I'm a spaz....

Now before you think, "Wow Ash, that was really forward," I will tell you that when I did send it to the right person, his response was "haha" which means he took it the right way.

Exhibit B:

I practically proposed to my friend (yet another poor guy friend) and invited him to move here and be my boyfriend. He declined and is choosing to go to law school at BYU instead. I can't compete with that!?

Conclusion:

I am not getting married because I can't keep my guys straight (not straight as in not gay, which would be a whole other issue, but straight as in I can't tell them apart) and I am more boring than law school. I guess I best keep focusing on my career!

My Grey Hair

So my friend Jessica has found at least 3 grey hairs on my head in about a month's time. I contribute this to the fact that I am a worry-wart. Some people would say it's because of stress at my job but really I think it's stress about how long I'll keep my job. I don't just worry about the economy though, I worry about you. I worry about hurting your feelings and trying to make it better. I worry about your family relationships. I worry about your health. I worry about you being happy. I worry about worrying so much. I just need someone to tell me every single day that it's going to be okay. I worry that I am dependent on someone having to tell me it's going to be okay. On the bright side, there's no need for you to worry because I do it enough for all y'all.

On the bright side, I can't wait for the weekend!
